- Filter
The Lossnay recuperator is equipped as standard with a filter for exhaust air from the room and a filter for fresh air from outside. The filter prevents contamination of the internal parts of the exchanger.
A high efficiency anti-smog filter, PM10 M6 class, is also available as an accessory
The only maintenance required is the cleaning of the outside air filter and the exhaust air filter. The filters are easily accessible for quick and thorough cleaning. - Heat exchanger
Lossnay's advanced recuperators use an efficient heat recovery system. Waste air is extracted from the room and at the same time fresh air from outside is brought into the room. This means a high level of energy savings, as the fresh air is heated or cooled by the exhaust air during the exchange. The heat exchange takes place in a heat exchanger. The Lossnay unit is equipped with a regenerative cross-flow heat exchanger, which is made of very thin paper with a unique design, allowing not only the exchange of sensible cooling power, but also latent cooling power. This solution increases the energy efficiency of the recuperator, which has a significant impact on comfort and significantly reduces energy consumption.
- Fan
The Lossnay recuperator is equipped with a radial fan. The design of the fan results in very quiet operation of the units, ensuring a high degree of efficiency and low power consumption. Two operating speeds (high/low) are available. It is also possible to set the 'exhaust air only' mode.
This unit can be mounted vertically and horizontally, depending on your circumstances and needs. An opening in the wall with a diameter of 120 mm is sufficient for installation. Air is supplied and exhausted through a single pipe with a baffle that separates fresh air from exhaust air. - Filter

A Class G3 outdoor air filter (replacement filter) is also available as an optional accessory to prevent dust, sand, pollen, etc. from entering the room from the outside air.

Two 90 mm diameter holes in the outter wall are sufficient to install the recuperator. The kit includes air supply and exhaust pipes and opening covers to protect against rainwater flooding. All parts needed for installation are included with the supplied recuperator.
